Description

Highly aromatic, it opens with a salty and nutty smoke with milk chocolate and tobacco. Oloroso casks have shaped this whiskey with a rich citrus syrupy of orange and grapefruit, along with hints of clove and cinnamon with nut and praline. As it opens further, brown sugar, raisins, dried apple, melon and ripe pears come to the fore, with a delicate peat smoke beautifully intertwined. A wonderful viscosity on the palate with notes of smoked nuts and leather, warm orange marmalade, dried apricot and hints of peppery spice towards the finish. The earthy smoke of the peat comes to the fore with some time, along with the fruity and nutty aromas of the oloroso casks. A salty touch of sea breeze creates a lively combination of flavors to finish.
