VERMOUTH PRINCIPI FEDERICO CL.75

AN ITALIAN STORY. Vermouth Principi is a fascinating journey through the history and diversity of Italy, a country rich in cultures, traditions and unique flavours.

It all starts with the idea of offering a tasting experience that allows anyone to explore the many facets of the Italian regions. Italy is a diverse country, with a rich and diverse culinary culture, which goes far beyond the famous vermouth of Piedmont. Perfumes and spices from each region modeled in an exceptional wine, we offer a taste of the best-known regions but also the least explored ones.

The Princes are figures who made the history of Italy long before the unification of the country. The first two references to have been launched are Costanza, from Sicily, and Federico, from Marche.

The packaging of Vermouth Principi is designed down to the smallest detail to highlight both the historical figures and the ingredients that contribute to creating this extraordinary experience.

Description

An illegitimate son, he had to build his own destiny. Federico began his career as a leader at sixteen and proved to be among the most respected of the Renaissance. But he was not just a man of arms: once he became count of Urbino, he transformed his city into an artistic and cultural center, at the time second only to Florence.

The main botanical components of Federico are rhubarb, cherries and the Montelupone artichoke, grown only in the Marche and protected by the Slow Food Presidium.

Appearance: The color is intense red/purple, due to the wine used in the production process and offers exceptional and surprising results in cocktails.

Aroma: thanks to the aromatic intensity of the main botanicals, Federico offers a unique olfactory experience.

Taste: Federico exploits the strength and intensity of the Marche red wine to offer a surprising, rounded and decisive taste. The sugar content is reduced to 120 g per liter, to preserve the original taste of the wine. If tasted alone with ice, it is recommended to let Federico open and oxygenate for a couple of minutes before drinking it.

BELOW IS AN IDEA FOR A COCKTAIL

URBINO MANHATTAN ONE WAY:

2⁄7 Vermouth Federico, 5⁄7 Rye Whisky, 2 drops of Angostura and 1 Maraschino cherry.

An intense embrace between the caramel flavor of rye whiskey and the robust taste of Federico. The bitter notes of Vermouth Federico make our Manhattan stronger and drier than traditional sweet vermouths.
