RHUM PLANTATION PERU 2006 VINTAGE EDITION CL.70 WITH CASE
RUM / RON distilled in Peru by Pot Still and Column Still in 2006, aged 11 years in small ex bourbon barrels and subsequently aged 3 years in ex Ferrand cognac barrels. On the nose, almost biscuit notes appear predominant, and then leave room for dehydrated fruit and hints of wood. On the palate it is round, full, full-bodied, with a very wide aromatic palette ranging from vanilla to the typical notes of old barrels, then remains fruity and strongly spiced. The finish is long, a great vintage.

Description
Plantation rums are an authentic invitation to travel. From Jamaica to Barbados via Panama, Trinidad, Guyana up to the Fiji Islands. Each rum has characteristic local flavors that faithfully reflect the identity of each territory. Each country that distills rum has its own terroir with its traditions, its production techniques and its identity. Alexandre Gabriel, Plantation's master blender, chooses only the best batches from each distillery in the Caribbean to respect the unique identity of each territory. All rums undergo double aging: in the Caribbean, so that the high temperatures enhance the rustic and exotic flavors of the country of origin, and in Cognac, perfecting the refinement thanks to the in-depth expertise and knowledge of the Maison Ferrand.
