Description

La Hechicera, which in Spanish means the enchantress, represents the seductive and exuberant beauty of the biodiversity of the Colombian coast. For four generations the Riascos family has created rum in Barranquilla. La Hechicera was born from an idea of the brothers Laura and Miguel Riasco and of the friend Martamaria Carillo. Using the experience of Maestro Ronero Giraldo Mituoka Kagana, they decide to select the best rum barrels that have been resting in the small tropical paradise for over 20 years. Giraldo Mituoka Kagana is the son of Japanese immigrants to Cuba and began working as a sugar cane cutter during the revolution. He then perfected his knowledge in long years of work both in Cuba and with the Riasco family.
