GIN BERRY BROS & RUDD LONDON DRY CL.70
It is the London Dry Gin par excellence distilled in central London at Thames Distillers based on an ancient family recipe from Berry Bros. & Rudd. London Dry Gin has always been a sought-after product and, in 1909, it was included for the first time in the Berry Bros. & Rudd catalogue. As evidence of its importance, it was also mentioned in the famous book “The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks” by David Embury, published in 1948.

Description
In 1933, during Prohibition, Berry Bros. & Rudd expanded into the US market with their products and historical records show that Berrys' Best London Dry Gin was sold in very small quantities in the US. Later, in the 1950s, London Dry Gin continued to be sold in small quantities to special customers such as iconic film director Frank Capra. Today, there is only one bottle of the old London Dry Gin from which experts have recreated what was once known as "Best Berrys". Berry's Gin is made from just four botanicals: juniper, angelica root, coriander and winter savory.
TASTING NOTES:
Nose: Rich in heady juniper, with hints of violet cream and a soft chalkiness.
Taste: Soft, almost velvety with strong floral notes with juniper always the protagonist
Finish: Citrusy and with hints of gummy candy.
