Description

Indlovu is the gin par excellence for those who are not afraid of anything and love challenges and particular tastes. It is a gin produced in Africa designed around elephants: "Indlovu" is an African word that indicates "elephant". The peculiarity of this gin is that it is obtained from elephant dung which is washed and dried. Extracted botanicals (such as acacia, bucco, heather) are then infused into the gin, thus providing an earthy, smooth and authentic taste not found in any other gin. This gin has a real provenance, similar to the wines. Dung is collected in different places and at different times of the year. This influences some of the botanicals found in gin. This is why on the back of each bottle there are two numbers: the first are the coordinates of the game reserve where it was collected, and the second is the date it was collected.

    Gargano Dry Gin is a naturally produced Apulian artisan London dry gin, thanks to the use of botanicals that are mostly hand-picked in the Vico del Gargano area and in the citrus oasis of Rodi Garganico. Conceived by bartender Riccardo Santovito with the collaboration of Distillerie Subalpine and aromatiere Alfredo la Cava, it provides that the 9 botanicals juniper, oregano, mandarin, ireos, zedoaria, marjoram, coriander, laurel and rosemary are first distilled individually, and finally once once the recipe has been assembled with the right doses of each one, we move on to a second distillation. The result will be a fresh and fragrant gin with a balsamic and citrus aftertaste, where all the botanicals combine to give it a strong and decisive character. Gradation 41%
