It is a combination of select oriental and local botanicals left to soak for up to 30 minutes in the medieval style still while the steam infusion is prepared. Included in the brew basket are an assortment of fresh oriental citrus fruits and leaves (Gunpowder tea). Deliciously fresh with notes of citrus, juniper and spices. During one of his many adventures, PJ Rigney visited the sunny west coast of the United States. He visited the San Francisco bay area, where he was struck by the delicious California orange citrus found there. He quickly realized that these would marry perfectly with the exotic citrus existing in the classic Drumshanbo gin, giving a bright and colorful explosion of fresh California citrus and creating an entirely new gin. During his travels, The Curios Mind arrived in the Sardinian city of Siniscola. Where the inhabitants introduced him to the "Sa pompia" or Citrus monstruosa. The result of this curious discovery is a new expression of Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin with the subtle hints of Sardinian citrus. A great find for all Gin lovers. Gradation 43%
